Integrity Initiatives International (integrityinitiatives.org) is an international NGO focused on combatting grand corruption by strengthening the enforcement of criminal laws against corrupt leaders, also known as kleptocrats. III works to end grand corruption by: supporting national measures, such as the recently created High Anti-Corruption Court in Ukraine; promoting understanding of the close connection between human rights and anti-corruption organizations; forging a network of young people dedicated to combatting corruption in their own countries and around the world; and catalyzing a campaign to establish the International Anti-Corruption Court (IACC).
III is a fiscally sponsored organization of TSNE (tsne.org).
The Special Assistant to the Chair of III works in Boston, Massachusetts and reports directly to the Chair of III, United States District Judge Mark Wolf. This role works closely with the Program Director and the III Advisory Board. The III board includes judges, former appointees of the President of the United States, former college presidents, and other highly educated and accomplished people.
In particular, the Special Assistant to the Chair of III plays an important role in the campaign for the IACC. III has published a Declaration in Support of the Creation of the IACC, which has been signed by nearly 300 prominent individuals from 80 countries. Working to establish the IACC has since been included in the official foreign policies of Canada and the Netherlands. Ecuador, Nigeria, and the European Parliament have also called for the Court’s creation. III is working closely with these governments and a growing global coalition of civil society organizations to campaign for the IACC. Momentum to establish the IACC is increasing at an accelerating rate.
The Special Assistant to the Chair of III is a unique opportunity for a new or recent graduate to gain experience working closely with III’s partners, who include leading international jurists, former cabinet ministers, and civil society leaders, among other prominent individuals from around the world.
