Fiscal Sponsorship Organizations

ISED ( refugee incubator partners have been developing training and technical assistance (T&TA) materials for use by refugee farming incubators across the country. For the past 3 years, we have focused on producing PowerPoint-based instructional photo series. ISED is a fiscally sponsored organization of TSNE (

The photos were taken by partners using Canon point-and-shoot cameras. Many were new to photography beyond using smartphones, so the quality has varied (though gradually improved). We emphasized inclusion of fairly high-resolution Jpeg images (~3-5 MB). Some were nominally edited using entry-level editing software before being uploaded into the PPTs.

Before we finalize these products, the photos need more professional editing. In other words, not simply 10-second iPhoto edits or similar, but more like Lightroom or equivalent.  Maybe not as fancy as, say, Photoshop; these are not going onto National Geographic. The point is also to get these done fairly efficiently (timewise).

We have about 150 photo series; around 75 ‘simplified’ and 75 elaborated which have the same images as the simplified versions. Each has 10-20 photos. About half have already been done, so that leaves about 75 series left.

This role will work up to 30 hours per week through the end of February 2023.

Edit 75+ photo series produced by ISED and partners

  • Orientation by ISED staff on protocols.
  • Access photo series online.
  • Edit images using advanced software.
  • Prepare edited photo series for further processing and subsequent posting.
