Safe Havens Interfaith Partnership Against Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse (Safe Havens) (interfaithpartners.org) seeks a new program associate who shares the same values and passion for the work that we do. Safe Havens is a multi-religious nonprofit dedicated to ending domestic violence and elder abuse. Safe Havens provides education, resources, and technical assistance to faith-based organizations and domestic and sexual violence advocates to catalyze partnerships and to create systemic change.
Safe Havens’ approach to intervention and prevention prioritizes the safety of victims over any religious, political, or financial interests. Because domestic violence and elder abuse cut across all boundaries of religion, age, race, ethnicity, class, language, culture, gender, sexual orientation, and geography, Safe Havens works with many diverse communities.
Safe Havens is a fiscally sponsored organization of TSNE (tsne.org).
The person in this role will support Safe Havens’ local (Greater Boston) and national programming. The program associate helps with program evaluation, planning, logistics, training, data collection and evaluation, proposal and grant writing, resource development (including resources in Spanish), expanding Spanish-language resource and training capacity, creating annual reports, and other agency-related tasks. Additional responsibilities are below.

Regarding COVID-19: TSNE considers the health and safety of our employees of the utmost importance, and due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and subject to your state and local laws, our policy requires that all employees performing in-person work at a TSNE designated office are fully vaccinated. Compensation and Benefits
Location: Work is mostly remote, occasional evenings and weekends are required for meetings and events.
Compensation: The starting range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hour and is commensurate with experience.
