Information Technology Associate I

The Information Technology Associate I will serve as the first level of information systems support for the TSNE staff and occasionally programs, including NonProfit Center tenants and conference room users, fiscally sponsored organization staff and others.

System Setup and Maintenance

• Install and maintain workstation hardware and software.
• Manage and setup shared resources, such as printers and conference room equipment.
• Install and maintain printing and other peripheral equipment.
• Testing and fixing faulty equipment.
• Support smartphone connectivity to enterprise apps.

User Support

• Provide helpdesk support, consulting with users to identify and resolve problems with hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support and coach users on standard office software including Microsoft Office, Salesforce and other TSNE enterprise systems.
• Backup NPC staff with technical support to NonProfit Center conference room users and shared space tenants.
• Logging issues and requests.
• Support users on phone system.
• Support remote access for internal staff and projects.

IT Projects

• Provide backup in IT with systems and infrastructure as needed.

Complete other tasks and projects related to the job, as needed.

You are someone who has a degree in computer systems or two years' of revelant experience. You are an excellent communicator and problem solver. Juggling priorities comes easy to you and you are able to do your work in creative ways. Overall, you are proficient in various softwares and platforms, but your proficiency with Windows and MS Office is a plus.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

The physical demands described for this position are that of a typical office environment. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions. Ability to sit and/or for extended periods of time in front of a computer screen is an essential aspect of the position. There may be a need to lift and/or move materials or equipment.

Location: Work will be performed between our office located at the NonProfit Center at 89 South Street, Suite 700, Boston, MA 02111 and your home office. This position is required to be on-site at least one to two days per week.

Schedule: This position is full-time at 37.5 hours per week and hours are flexible within reason.

Regarding COVID-19: TSNE considers the health and safety of our employees of the utmost importance, and due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and subject to your state and local laws, our policy requires that all employees performing in-person work at a TSNE designated office are fully vaccinated. For the purpose of this policy, fully vaccinated indicates that you have received a single dose of the Janssen vaccine, or both doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine. Certain exemptions may be requested and will be considered by Human Resources.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: The starting salary for this position is $50,000.00 and is commensurate with experience.
