This is a new position, as Future Chefs grows its development department. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Director of Development will participate in shaping the strategy and future direction of the development department’s fundraising efforts. This person will build a portfolio to make direct solicitations for significant contributions. They will design/execute and evaluate a strategy to increase individual and institutional fundraising and engagement in order to support Future Chefs’ growth in programs and help close out the current capital campaign. This person will also prepare the Executive Director for solicitations. The Director of Development will also support the fundraising capacity of the Advisory Council and help to recruit members who are effective and representative of the community we serve. Compensation and Benefits
Location: Will have access to an office at 305 Blue Hill Avenue and work primarily in person as needed when the office re-opens. Work is currently remote due to COVID-19. This position includes occasional evening or weekend hours for special events.
Compensation: Salary range, $85,000 - $100,000, based on experience.
