Responsibilities

The Client Intake Coordinator is responsible for conducting data-driven analyses related to client satisfaction, project success, and business development. Responsibilities include tracking prospective client information, conducting client-feedback and related sessions, and assisting the Client Intake Team in implementing and maintaining changes in work flow. The Coordinator will work collaboratively to ensure the data integrity of past, present, and potential client projects and the overall quality of internal records. This position is temporary and is anticipated to last for one year.

 

Prospective Client Intake and Communication

  • Ensure prospective and current clients are responded to promptly and appropriately regardless of medium.
  • Review prospective client information and follow up for additional information as needed;
  • Manage incoming inquires for prospective new business;
  • Document communications and ensure the individual or organizational needs are accurately summarized and captured;
  • Continuously communicate about the status of the prospective clients and other relevant information along all organization business lines;
  • Assist with special projects and other departmental responsibilities as assigned;
  • Collaborate with team members to provide a due diligent process for evaluating the potential partnerships of tenants and fiscally sponsored organizations;
  • Facilitate and support internal process for proposing prospective fiscally sponsored organizations to the Fiscal Sponsorship Leadership Team and the Board of Directors;
  • Ensure a seamless client transition to the engagement team.

Data and Systems Management

  • Lead data driven initiatives to develop and enhance services to better meet the needs of potential clients;
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and maintain useable data;
  • Help develop and maintain Salesforce processes to ensure the collection of accurate data for the Programs Team;
  • Assist in generating, updating, and disseminating team-related reports; help identify ways to enhance our services and processes to better meet the needs of prospective clients.

Complete other tasks and projects related to the job, as needed.

Qualifications

We will consider exceptional candidates who demonstrate a strong combination of the specific qualifications and skills described below.

  • Familiarity with nonprofit foundational concepts;
  • Lived experience working in a grassroots nonprofit or being a client of an intermediary nonprofit;
  • Proficient computer skills; experience using Salesforce or other customer relationship management tools is preferred;
  • Some familiarity with public speaking and presenting preferred;
  • Group facilitation skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on being client-centered;
  • Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively;
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot independently;
  • Effective time management skills;
  • Commitment to the work of social and economic organizations;
  • Proficient in Microsoft software suite; Salesforce, and the ability to learn new systems quickly and enthusiastically;
  • Participate in/facilitate special projects as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

 

Location: Work will be primarily performed at our main office (89 South St. Boston, MA 02111). Work is currently 100% remote.

 

Compensation: The starting salary for this position is $55,000 and is commensurate with experience.
