The mission of Station1 is to expand educational opportunity and develop equitable, ethical, and sustainable science and technologies. Station1 partners with leading startup companies and university research laboratories within the greater Boston entrepreneurial ecosystem in emerging fields such as computational biotechnology, biomanufacturing, agricultural technology, civic technology, inclusive social media, advanced manufacturing and digital automation, autonomous aeronautics, and nanoscale materials design.

Station1 is seeking a Director of Programs who is passionate about innovation in higher education, social impact through science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), interdisciplinary collaboration, and fostering equity and inclusion. The Director of Programs will assume a key leadership role and be responsible for the strategic development and operational success of Station1 programs. Areas of responsibility include coordination and management of Station1 programs, initiatives, and partnerships including the flagship Station1 Frontiers Fellowship, corporate engagement with startup companies, venture firms, and university partnerships, evaluation data analytics, alumni engagement, and collaboration with the Station1 founders on new post-secondary financial models including social impact investing. This position and Station1 are based in a beautiful, newly renovated, innovative learning and office space in a historic mill in Lawrence, Massachusetts, along the Merrimack River.
