The Early Childhood Funders Collaborative is a project fiscally sponsored by TSNE Missionworks. For over 25 years, the Early Childhood Funders collaborative has been a place for grant-makers to come together to learn about the latest research, program innovations, and policy affecting young children (birth to 8) and their families. Members align their resources for common good and speak out on behalf of young children and their families. ECFC Members share successes and lessons with each other. Our strength is in the community we have developed among foundations who genuinely want to share and collaborate for change. ECFC has two primary goals for our work together:
ECFC was established in 1992 to improve collaboration among funders, foster peer learning, identify issues of common concern, and incubate ideas for advancing the field. Growing from eleven original members to nearly 30 foundations, today ECFC is comprised of national, regional, state, and local foundations with a demonstrated investment priority in early childhood development and learning.
The Program Manager will develop programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. He/she will developing budgets and operating plans for programs, as well as supervising staff or consultants as needed. He/she may develop grant proposals as needed to pursue funding for projects.
Key projects may include, but not be limited to: ECFC's website and electronic communications, ECFC meetings and conferences, collaborative projects with ECFC members, and developing and managing learning and action networks.
We will consider exceptional candidates who demonstrate a strong combination of the specific qualifications and skills described below.
